bt actually i dnt understand y they chose tt date.
probably bcoz' it easy 4 them to record on their move to the Earth in crisis?
However,
look at the massive amount of electricity n resources used to set up stages in the various countries. Tell me.
arent they jus wasting wat is alrdy considered as little to sustain the world's people?
n those ppl who went all the wae to support this event.
r they realli into the "save our home" thing or jus thr to support their idols?
we'll i dunno the real reason behind it.

To me,
1 person's effort is never enough to save the world,
bt one person make a difference.
if everyone jus think tt wat they do wldnt make a difference,
thn the approach towards global warming will lessen.

i dunno y,
bt i realise ppl in Singapore r really too fortunate.
well,
let me put it this wae.
w have no natural disaster,
no epidemic,
nobody who r malnutritioned,
it's lik everyone in this tiny little red dot is very much safe frm global warming.

but look at it this wae.
we r an island surrounded by sea.
dnt u tink tt whn ice caps at the poles melt,
which in turns causes sea lvl to rise will submerge Singapore in the future?

we r experiencing all the changes.
if ppl in the past cld see wat's happening to us nw,
mayb we cn still leave global warming issues to our children's children.

but.
nw.
it's all happening to us.
too soon.
whenever ppl mention abt global warming,
it's either the movie "Day aft tml" or "An Inconvenient truth".
"Day aft tml" might b a little exaggerated,
on the part wif 3 storms happening all at once,
bt the effects r true.
we might jus enter the pre-glacier period n start another ice age,
whr the world's population of over 6.6 billions will all perish tgt.

with development in technology,
i realli hoped tt things might jus change 4 the bttr.

THE EARTH IS OUR ONLY HOME.
WITHOUT IT, WE DIE.

Althought i'm a geog student,
bt i'm pretty sure it affects every1.
