♥; Rain & Rainbow

Rain and Rainbow. As the saying goes, "If you want the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain". The rain might dampen one's spirit, but the rainbow certainly lift a person's spirit up. However, what if Heaven play a trick on someone, forgetting to draw the curtains he had before the windows of our soul? What's red to the blind? What's violet to them? Most importantly, what's RAINBOW to them?

All the colours I experience in my life, all the light I get to absorb, it might be really unreachable for the visually-handicapped. I don't want to use the word "sympathetise", but rather I feel for them. Human tend to cherish things only when they lose it. Those humans who went blind in the later years of their life might be blaming themselves for not cherishing what they were able to see with their eyes. We always thought that everything that we have, like our eyes, ears, mouth, limbs even our life, comes to us all so naturally. Moreover, we demand for more, to satisfy our material needs. Nevertheless, we seems to have disregarded those unfortunate bunch who are even struggling with the basic ability to survive.

Honestly, I think that those people who are disabled are much more contented with their life as compared to abled-bodied people like us, since they know what is meaning of "living your life to the fullest". The art of surviving is not just about having the cash, and necessary conditions for a high standard of living, but rather the character in us. What do we see life as? Do we exist or do we live? If you tell me that you live, then, what is your purpose in living?

I threw a few questions to you people who are reading my blog, so do hope that you guys really think about them seriously. Afterall, you only live once, It's either regretful or MEANINGFUL. =)
