MY BEST LOVED GENTING TRIP

Day One:

Alright, the first day of Genting trip was pretty much traveling here and there. The sec 4s had to fall in upon reaching the school coz' it was Mr Lim's idea of letting the Sec 3s lead. Well, initially, i was quite unhappy coz' it's a form of disrespect for the seniors (no wonder my band has little alumni coming back), but for Pei Si and Zhen Yi's sake, I fell in. Along with me was the other sec 4s who were equally mistreated by him. Oh man, what to do? When you don't give people respect, don't expect others to give it to you too. Ain't? Other than that, things were great. (: Like I said, without him, the Band will be the best CCA in the school. (:

Anyway, the bus pulled over at Yong Peng, which was full of houseflies (Eww), and bandies had their lunch. Most had the oriental Ramly burgers we get in Pasar Malam in Singapore, and it sure pasted differently. Hahax. After that, on our way up to Genting, we took photographs of the sceneries, as you can see below:

We had our first meal in Genting at the First World Cafe, and it was really boring. However, what to do, we were not allowed to roam around, so we had to bear with it. (:

After our meal, we need to prepare for our OPENING CEREMONY! Everyone had fun during the opening ceremony coz' we sure did. (: Just look at the fun-filled pictures to come! Oh wait, before that, after our opening cermony, a guy actually took Ying Hui's number! It's like a OMG thing. However, things didn't turn out well when words spread to our teachers. Our teachers coplained to the management and this guy was banned from stepping into Genting again. What a dire consequence. ): Oh well.

Day Two:

Today is adjudication, and I thought we did well. However, we mange only to get 77%, a silver. I find that it's good enough already, coz' the top bands weren't really that good (I'm not the only one who's saying this). However, the adjudicators' decisions are final, so we can only accept it. (:

Today ain't a day to be happy, coz' several were caught being in others' room after lights out. This included the leaders. Well, I just know that my sec 3 leaders were very much affected after that that they couldn't fall asleep. I wasn't that much affected coz' after all, I've passed out and humans do make mistakes. I still remembered that I was very angry at Mr Lim's unreasonable spot check when we were doing debriefing that I called my mum and Ms Lee to complain. It wasn't really the best solution and he just wouldn't look at other people feedbacks. Even Mr Er couldn't stand his nonsense when he said about not participating in SYF. He said something like not participating in SYF will give sir no headache, not realising that by not participating in SYF, it will actually make all other schools talk about sir and give him a worse headache. Nevertheless, let's get back to photosharing before my blood boils again.

Day Three:

Today I didn't take much photos coz' the whole band was punished for yesterday. Yeah, one band one sound, so no one had the liberty to get their free time. We apologised to the whole band and some even cried. My god. I scolded Pei Si for crying when the lift was packed with people but I thought that was needed and it really did help calm her down . So all in all, I think I did a right thing. I almost cried when I see her that sad. Really. It's really disheartening to see your junior face that much stress. Oh well, it's over. (:

It was only the friendship concert that i took a few pictures. Even results were out today, and since I mentioned the details already, so I won't do it again. (: Several bands were quite sad, but our band was still quite alright. So hopefully, they'll be able to clinch a gold for SYF! (:

Day Four:

Today's our free day! Well, some have to attend a workshop for their sat piece. Other than that, bandies manage to do their shopping and have fun at theme park. Actually, most people didn't have good time management coz' many complained that they didn't have time to shop. I bought about $100+ Sing dollars in just 2 and a half hour. Hahax. My god. Seriously, I think that some bandies should stop being selfish and triy to make use of every chance to bond together. It's not always that we get to go to Genting or overseas. What to do, I just know that Ms Thng was rather badly hurt through this whole trip. ): Hope she's fine already. (:

Day Five:

We were all gonna leave Genting on this day. 5 days just ended so quickly.

After being stranded on the 23rd level for quite some time, we manged to take the emergency lifts down to where we were supposed to gather and waited for the rest. I watched dvd on the way down Genting but due to that I was super tired, I didn't finish. When passing through custom I was so afraid that I might get caught for bringing back my own dvds and also a wooden handcrafted gun. Luckily nothing's lost. Poor Lyn had to thrown away a sword that she bought. ): However, on the journey home, I played Elaine's DS and Cooking Mama's fun. Too bad I don't owe such gadgets like them. ): Never mind, I'm satisfied with what I have. (:
